Saturday night, as if the parade and festival wasn't enough for one day, we decided to go the zoo for their annual "Ice Cream Zoofari".
The kids watched a ventriloquist.
And of course we looked at the animals.
They took turns in the stroller.
And had fun running around in the tee pee.
But the real reason I make sure we visit the zoo on this day is for the ice cream.
They have a big variety of flavors, and it's all-you-can-eat. And eat we did.
The last thing we went to was a puppet show.
It turned out to be an educational puppet show about different animals.
The last animal they showed was a small owl. They were trying to get it to fly from one trainer to the other trainer.
But it continued to land on Zoodini, which made the kids laugh every time.
I'm glad we got to go to the zoo.
And I'm glad we got to eat ice cream too.
