june in review

More random pictures from June.

Drake always wants to sell something, so on this day I told him if he got everything set up, he could sit out on our front lawn and sell stuff. The fact that we live at the end of a dead end street doesn't deter him.

He decided to sell radishes from his garden. Graham made these $3 and $4 signs and just taped them to our front steps, but never really sold anything.

And Drake thought he could get anywhere from $7 - $10 per radish. After sitting for a while with no customers, Graham finally came into the house and asked for money to buy Drake's radish. He took what I gave him and ran back outside. Sweet Graham bought Drake's radish for 50 cents. They were both so excited about it. Graham took a big bite, decided he didn't like it, threw it on the ground, and then ran off to play with something else. Drake soon joined him.

Drake attempting to wash old pennies.

A pretty perennial on our back porch.

Graham listening to Avery's stomach.

Drake started his own project in the backyard: digging "trenches" as he calls them, and filling them up with water.

Drake has done really well his last several games of T-ball. The kids get four pitches without the T, but if they can't hit it on one of those, then they put the T up and they try until they hit it. Well Drake has been able to hit the ball without the T the last three games in a row, so I finally brought my camera to capture it on film.

This first video shows him hitting it on the first pitch, but getting tagged out at first base. Drake didn't like that.

This second video shows him hitting it on the second pitch, and then pushing his teammate (who wasn't aware he was supposed to be running to second base) so he could stand on first base.

And I just wanted to end on this picture because I never get over how crazy her hair is when she wakes up in the morning.

Gotta love it.

I loved the video of Drake pushing his teammate off first base. That gave me a good laugh!

I love Avery's sunglasses in the boating post. And I love your backyard - looks like a little boy's dream! You're such a good mom, Ang!
