easter

We had an enjoyable Easter weekend.

Friday night, we dyed eggs after Avery was in bed.

Saturday morning, the kids had a great time looking for their baskets.

They also had fun searching for the eggs that were hidden around the room.

Avery had plenty of fun just playing with her basket.

We enjoyed hard-boiled eggs for breakfast.

After breakfast, we went to the Easter Egg Hunt in the park in the neighborhood next to us (sponsored by some local financial companies).

They had the areas marked off and divided into different age groups to help make it fair.

Once the "GO" was shouted, it was a mad dash to pick up the loot, and only lasted for a few minutes.  I had Graham; Shad was with Drake.

This is Graham's friend Tandi.  I think her and Graham faired pretty well.  Drake  was definitely fast... I think Shad had Drake put some of his back so that other kids could get some more.

It was a little cold, but it was fun.

They got to see some of their friends too.

The rest of the day was spent just having fun and getting things done around the house (as always).

Easter Sunday was great.  Our meetings were nice and the weather was good.  We had a little devotional that night to talk about the Savior and His Resurrection.  I'm grateful for the Savior and all He has done for me.  My life is truly blessed, and I look forward to forever with my family.
