We celebrated Shad's dad's birthday by spending a day and a half with most of his family at a nice location away from our own homes.
The weather was nice enough, although a little on the cold side.
Here, Shad's dad is doing a magic trick with a burnt match (from lighting his cake) and a magic string.
It was nice to have a good excuse to be all together and just hang out.
It was fun to see Shad's parents with a bunch of their grandkids.
I'm grateful for Shad's dad and the wonderful example he was and is for Shad, and for our kids as well.
And I'm glad we had a chance to celebrate his birth.
Happy Birthday "Papa".
