"minut to winit"

After doing a "Minute to Win It" challenge with some of our family, Drake decided he would make up his own "Minut to Winit" (that's how he spelled it) challenges for us to attempt.

The first was to take all of the following Trio pieces and put them all together in one minute.

Lindy watching on.

Shad making a valiant attempt.

One minute goes by fast when you have a ton of blocks to stack.

Oh, poor Shad didn't make it in time.  Nice try.

For the kids, Drake recuded the number of things that needed to be stacked.

I think Graham did it in a minute and a half.  Drake counted it.

The next challenge was to blow a small, green Trio piece across the four cups and have it land in the origami box at the end.

I'm not to keen on physics, but if you see the green piece at the bottom of the picture below, it's pretty much impossible to blow that across four cups which have big gaps between them.  But we humored Drake by trying anyway.

The third challenge was stacking cups on top of each other in a minute.  Avery was very proud that she could actually do this one.

We finished off the evening with some book reading to settle the kids down after all of the excitement.

I'm grateful for Drake's creativity and the random activities that ensue in our household because of it.

Drake is such an adorable, creative boy! If you ever get tired of him, send him my way.
