Every Spring we get outside and start cleaning up our property.
Shad's a pro at tilling.
We cut down old branches so the branch chipping folks can come by and haul them off for us.
Drake and Graham love to watch the machine chew up the branches...
...and spit them into the truck.
And as with every task that Shad works on, the boys are right there helping.
They still think that work is fun.
And I'm not about to tell them otherwise.

We decided to make a spot for the kids to plant their own little garden.
They picked pumpkins, watermelon, radishes, sunflowers, carrots and lettuce.
We'll see how well things grow. We're leaving it completely up to them (and the sprinkler system).
Drake already checks it everyday to see how much progress is being made.
I hope things start growing soon.
