Brace yourselves. This is just a slew of pictures that happened in August, and didn't get their own post. I'll try to keep my comments brief. You're welcome.
It started out that both Shad and Drake were sleeping outside. This is how it ended up by morning (hint: that's not Shad).
We got the tire put in it's permanent place behind the swingset.
We washed cars.
Swinging.
Following in dad's footsteps.
We purchased our first couch and love seat.
They cost us $50 each.
Friends.
Avery aplenty.
Sunset.
A dragonfly that let me get close.
Playing with balls with Jake.
Avery again.
Hillside covered in sunflowers.
Bike trailer that my dad bought for a steal, which we then bought from him. We love it. Thanks again Dad.
And this is what happens when our mower breaks and our grass keeps growing.
Drake found an extra long one.
It makes for good hide-and-seek though, right?
And finally, Avery trying to talk, kind of.
Summertime is never long enough.
