Our town has what is called the "First Friday Art Walk" each month during the summer, where businesses open their doors, and you walk around to see what they (and other locals) have and eat the refreshments they serve. We went for the last one of the season, and it was kind of fun.
Here the kids are eating popcorn and sitting on stools that might have been for sale at the mini flea market on that corner.
I've never really just walked down Main St. in "Old Town". It definitely has a cool, old feel to it.
And most of the shops we wandered into were small stores with a variety of unique items.
It was almost like having a taste of a different lifestyle or culture.
Speaking of culture, our passports have arrived...
I'm excited.
